For more than 85 years, Danto Furniture has remained rooted in Southwest Detroit. The business operated for decades near West Vernor Highway before moving in 2022 to its current location at 7741 Dix Street, at the corner of Dix and Central. The move provided Danto with a larger, more accessible showroom while keeping the business close to the community that helped build its name.
In 2026, Danto Furniture entered a new chapter under new local ownership. Although ownership has changed, the history and significance of the Danto name remain an important part of who we are. Our goal is to respect the foundation built since 1940 while bringing fresh leadership, new ideas, an expanded product selection, competitive pricing, and a more modern shopping experience.

Looking for a dining room set. The owner was in and remembered us from our previous purchase. Staff knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to help with information and pricing.

I'll recommend Danto's any day. We worked with Tony to get a sectional and he was very professional, not pushy at all and worked with us to get an amazing deal.
The delivery was fast and the delivery drivers were awesome as well! Danto's will be my go to for any new furniture.
